The NIPA were in Roscrea for their 2nd race of the weekend . The birds were liberated at 9am into a northerly
breeze. Topping the NIPA Open this week winning 1st Sect G ( 38/622 ) & 1st Open ( 346/4,113 ) vel 1361
was last seasons NIPA Young Fanciers Of The Year - Delaney & McCambridge - Ashfield - Young Jack &
Ronan timed a yearling blue cheq cock that was bred directly by the master Willy Jacobs . This was the up and
coming young partnerships first taste of Open success and I would personally like to congratulate the two
young fanciers , through the column , on their weekends top performance . Hot on their tails was
grandad/granny Gerald & Pat who themselves had an outstanding race winning 2nd 3rd 4th & 7th Open plus
taking 13 positions in the top 55 of the NIPA Open result . The 2nd Open winner is a 3 year old direct Willy
Jacob. The 3rd Open Winner is " Something Special" - A real flying machine . Already this season the three
