Memo to all committee members 27th. April 2015

The next NIPA committee meeting has been arranged for Wednesday 6th. May 2015 in Headquarters Dromore commencing at 7.30pm Sharp.

Our next race is scheduled for Saturday the 2nd May 2015 according to our race programme the liberation point is FERMOY.

All committee members must contact me within the next two days to advise me on their preferred choice of a race point.

The weather this week is very unsettled with the possibility of rain and wind most days We will monitor the weather for the rest of this week and ask you to keep an eye on the site were we will update when we receive any further information.

If you require any information regarding next week`s race please contact the NIPA office and do not read and believe all that is posted on Social Media.

Can I remember all members that they must have their measurement for CORRIN for the 9th MAY 2015, Please contact your secretary.

THE NIPA WILL RACE FROM ROSCREA THIS FRIDAY 1ST MAY 2015

BIRDS WILL BE COLLECTED ON THURSDAY 30TH APRIL AT NORMAL TIMES

WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR FRIDAY ARE THAT FRIDAY IS THE BEST DAY OF THE WEEKEND MAINLY A DRY DAY WITH BROKEN CLOUD WINDS TO BE EASTERLY UP TO 12 KNOTS

NEXT WEEK`S RACE IS SCHEDULED FOR CORRIN PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SECRETARY HAS OBTAINED YOUR MEASUREMENTS

AFTER NEXT WEEK`S COMMITTEE MEETING I WILL PUBLISH AN AMMENDED RACE PROGRAMME.

ULSTER FEDERATION RACEMARKING
THE ULSTER FEDERATION WILL RACEMARK ON THURSDAY EVENING FOR A LIBERATION ON FRIDAY from Thurles (WEATHER PERMITTING) - PLEASE PASS THE WORD AROUND.

The EDC weather committee have decided not to hamper on Friday for this weeks race from Clonmel. A decision on hampering on Saturday night for a Sunday race will be made on Friday night.

East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Race cancelled on Saturday due to bad weather,update on when race will be tomorrow evening Friday.

Mid Leinster Federation Macroom 04/05/2015 - Race marking will take place normal times on Sunday evening for a Monday race due to adverse weather conditions.

Friday 01/05/15

Good morning the N.I.P.A. are in Roscrea, I have spoken to the convoyer and he has informed me that the birds are on site and the drinkers are on. Its a nice morning with high greyish white cloud and visibility 100%.So I will continue to monitor the progress of the rain which is in co cork at the moment , I intend to hold has long as the rain allows me to , so I will up date accordingly.

Good morning the N.I.P.A. are in Roscrea, I have spoken to the convoyer and we are sitting in a high greyish white cloud with a light easterly wind and the sun is trying to break through . So we are setting up for a possible liberation around 12-00 noon, so I will up date again as soon as I have confirmation of the liberation time.

Good afternoon the N.I.P.A. are in Roscrea, the birds have been liberated at 12-00 noon, they where liberated in broken cloud with the sun trying to get out, the wind is light easterly in direction and the temperature was 12 degrees . At Dublin the wind is south easterly coming from 100 degrees at 16 knots and the cloud height is few at 1800ft and broken at 18,000ft visibility is 10 kilometres or greater. So good luck to all and I hope you have a good race.

Crates

would all clubs please inform the NIPA of the number of crates in their possession I desperately need to re distribute crates as some clubs are really struggling to hamper all their entries . If you have any more than 2 spare crates not in use you will have to surrender these as I cant stress highly enough the need for these. Posted in Latest Nipa news.

Next weeks race is due to be flown from Corrin 6029 this new racepoint is just south of Fermoy and we are liberating there as we are unable to access the Irish army camp at Fermoy on this occasion as the range is being used for training purposes on that particular weekend . Would all clubs ensure that they have measurements for this racepoint and also ensure that they have measurements for the new Bude 6028 and also Portlaoise 6030 . Posted in Latest Nipa news.

ULSTER FEDERATION - THE ULSTER FEDERATION HAVE RELEASED IN THURLES @ 10.15am, WIND - EAST

The East Down Combine weather committee have decided due to the poor weather forecast for Sunday NOT to hamper on Saturday night. The forecast for Monday is much better so Hampering will now take place on Sunday night for a race from Clonmel on Monday.

EAST COAST FED DUBLIN RACE MARKING ON SUNDAY FOR RACE FROM MALLOW ON MONDAY. Marking Sunday for a race Monday, pick up time by transporter will be 2 hours earlier than usual.

Big birdage tonight Sarsfield 42 members sent 979 birds to Pilmore for a ISRF race tomorrow.

The East Down Combine have Liberated in Clonmel at 08.00 Wind Light South West
