Millisle & District Moot – The annual Pigeon Moot will take place on Friday 4th December , in the First & Last on Main Street, Millisle at 7.30pm. The usual Buffet with £5 admission, come early to secure a seat. Panel this year consists of super fanciers from England and Wales, it is one of the best in recent years. Tony Murray, Welsh Queens Cup winner in 2013, 1st Ace Long Distance Pigeon 2015 Hungary Olympiad. Rodger Holdsworth 1st & 2nd Kings Cup in 2015, only three birds home on the day. Sean Cooke Ace Sprint Middle Distance Saltney Breeder/Buyer, only bird on the day. Shotten Gold Ring Winner – Ralph Jepson, ace fancier his birds do the talking. John Wheatcroft will also be in attendance, a Legend in the Sport all over the World. Chairman from Ballymena will be Chris Moore.
