Going forward into 2024 the Ballymena based MAC has the following clubs in membership.Ballymena & District, Ahoghill Flying Club, Rasharkin & Dist, Randalstown HPS,Kells & District, Cullybackey HPS, Broughshane & District and Harryville HPS.. New officials are Chairman Robin Service from Ballymena & District and Secretary Willie Reynolds from Ballymena & District. President is Danny Dixon. Mervyn Eagleson is PO. All the latest news and results will be listed here, including Champions League and OB & YB Knock-out. Fees for 2024 are £5.00 for Clubs which includes all the members.

The Mid Antrim birds for the second week of the old bird season were released at 10.00am in Tullamore in a Lt Westerly wind, it turned out a lot easier than most members expected. Returns are again excellent, well done to all concerned the early liberation worked out well. Paddy McManus had the Card of the Day for the second week in Ahoghill taking 1st & 2nd MAC followed by his father Charlie McManus who had the Ballymena Top 4.

MAC remains open for Associate member’s, get in before the Knock-Out starts joining fee £5.

Ballymena & District 14/375 - McFall & McManus 1566, 1566, 1559, 1545, J Eagleson & Sons 1542, W & J Smyth 1542, 1542, 1542, Blair & Rankin 1541, J Eagleson & Sons 1541. Charlie McManus wins for the second week, he had four birds together around 12.20hrs flying 124 miles to take 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the club. Most of his birds are supplied by son Paddy out in Ahoghill, he has also won for the second week. Show Specials this week are won by McFall and McManus, J Eagleson and Sons and W & J Smyth. Well done all!!
