Obituary Fred Bloor - 03/01/18

Post by willie reynolds »

Just had the very sad news that Fred passed away at 6-30 this morning in Hospital.

From another site - I assume we are talking about Fred Bloor. Sad news indeed but a release from his suffering. Fred was a long-serving member of our club and a top flyer in all competition and a real character. Rob Wilton and I helped him with his ets system so he could race his birds this past season, which I know he got great enjoyment from. He has been really poorly for several years. Many thanks must also be offered to Stuart Russell who has been caring for Freds pigeons for some time a very kind gesture. RIP in piece Fredo. Dave Staddon.

Just to let Fred's friends and fellow fanciers know that his funeral wiil take place on Tuesday 16th January at 10.40 am, at Yeovil Crematorium.

We well remember Fred coming to or Ireland's Own weekend a number of years back with good friend Bill Cowell (Bilco), both were in Ireland for the first time and we had them up to see the world famous Giants Causeway. Both have now passed away, they had many friends around the world. HOMER.
