If this weeks race from Bude goes ahead your birds will be lifted at collection points this is to allow the transporters to make the early Boat sailing from Dublin on Friday morning at around 1am , collection times are as follows;

Limavady 5 pm , Derry 5.45 pm, Omagh 6.30 pm , Strabane 7.15 pm , Corrigs 5.30 pm , Killyleagh 6 pm , Dromara 6.30 pm Harmony 7.pm, Larne 5.30 pm , Doagh 6pm , Carrick 6.30 pm , Ligoniel 7pm , Coleraine 5pm , Ballymoney 5.45 pm , Cullybackey 6.30 pm , Harryville 7pm , Muckamore 7.45 pm , Coalisland 6pm , Loughgall 6.30 pm , Portadown 7.15 pm , Laurelvale 7.45 pm , Lurgan 8.15 pm , Lisburn 8.45 pm , Ards 6pm , Kingswood 6.30 pm , Grosvenor/ West Belfast 7-7.15pm , Dromore 8.pm. Banbridge and Newry will be collected as soon as transporters become available to send up but I cant envisage this being before 9.30 pm .

If the yearling hens/ cocks race goes ahead for Friday collection to allow us to arrive at the release point at a reasonable time the following collection times Must be adhered to ; Derry 3pm , Coleraine 4.30 pm , Coalisland 5pm , Cullybackey 5.15 pm , Loughgall 5.30 pm , Muckamore 6pm , Portadown 6 pm , Lurgan 6.30 pm , Doagh 6.30 pm , Killyleagh 6.30 pm , Ligoniel 7pm , Carrick 7pm , Lisburn 7.30 and Newry 9 pm . No Thursday race marking for Bude.

The NIPA race advisory committee have decided not to race mark on Thursday Evening 14th June for Bude. Weather reports will be monitored on Thursday and a further update will be issued on this weekends races on Thursday evening.

The East Down Combine weather committe will assess weather conditions tomorrow morning for this weeks race from Bude. A further update will be provided then.

NIPA - Weekend races

Race marking information for this weekend’s races Thursday 14th June.

Thursday 14th June 2018.

The N.I.P.A. race advisory committee have decided to race this weekend from Dunmanway.

Race marking will take place on Friday evening and club collections will take place as normal for a possible release on Sunday.

Bude has been cancelled due to difficulties with the ground conditions at the release site and a suitable alternative site could not be located.

The R.P.R.A. trophy to celebrate the 65th year of the Queen’s Coronation will now be flown from Penzance next weekend.

Race marking for Roscarbery Yearling cock ‘s and hen’s national will take place at centres on Saturday for a possible release on Sunday.

Collection times will be advised tomorrow. Fred Russell Secretary.

Due to unfavourable weather conditions for Bude on Sunday/Monday the East Down Combine will Hamper Tonight for a Saturday Race from Fermoy, usual collection times.

Race marking for our second old bird inland Derby race from Barleycove will take place tonight. This race is sponsored by P J Nangle of Carlow pigeon supplies. Each section winner will receive a 25 kg bag of pigeon feed plus a 25 kg bag of grit. Thank you PJ Nangle.

Saturday 16/06/18

ISRF Birds will be liberated at 10.15am in Penzance - Dunmanway lib at 11.30. Best of luck all

EDC - Weather conditions are not suitable at present for a Liberation but they should improve quickly. Next update around 11.00. The East Down Combine have Liberated in Fermoy at 11.45 Wind Fresh South Westerly

Mid Leinster Federation - Skibbereen birds have been liberated at 10.00am
And the birds in Penzance for our Old Bird derby have been liberated at 10.15am.

LPCC,birds in Penzance have been liberated with the ISRF at 10.15am. Best of luck to all who raced and thank you to the lads on the ISRF truck who look after us and our birds.

Sunday 17/06/18

The website will be updated at around 11.00am we have moved your Rosscarbery Nat birds to Dunmanway due to a low pressure system on the coast which we have been informed will not move early enough to allow a liberation. There will be two separate liberations at Dunmanway.

CORRECTION Yearling Nat birds liberated first. The NIPA have released the YEARLING COCKS AND HENS in Dunmanway at 10.45 in a light SouthWest wind ,the ordinary Dunmanway race are due to be released at 11.15 we will update the website as soon as this is confirmed.

The NIPA ordinary Dunmanway race have been released at 11.30am your birds cleared well.
