Eddy & Norman McGimpsey have been racing pigeons a life time, in their 57 years, they have been previous Skibbereen Yearling National Winners and one of the few lofts in Section F to have been crowned NIPA Champion Old Bird Of The Year with their outstanding ‘CHURCHILL’. The immensely successful partnership have clocked up 47x 1st prizes since 2020 & in excess of 50x 1st Section F In The NIPA from 1982. They have also picked up 6x RPRA Irish Region Section F Meritorious Awards.

McGimpsey Bros unfortunately did not get racing in 2025 season due to illness, however, up until that, they raced a small team of 14-16 widowhood cocks and have a tremendous record within the club & Section F. Their small stock loft was formidable and their blood highly sought after when available. Their sprint to middle distance bloodlines are responsible for winners in Ireland for Ken Armstrong, Sammy Ogle, Alan Darragh, Joe Reid, Doug Johnston, McCormick & Young. Their blood has long been established in lofts in Cumbria area and providing success right to topping the Fed & Cumbia Amalgamation for Barry Irving, David Lofthouse, Tomlinson & Banks and Mark Hodgson.

On the channel, their natural team of 28 pigeons have had many standout performances out to France and their blended family of Irish bloodlines with a tough of Continental or English flair has stood them in good stead. Irish blood from Burns Bros, Aiden McAteer & Paul Dunlop has been cultivated with some top class blood from Darren McFadden. They have achieved 26th, 38th, 47th, 53rd, 59th, 63rd INFC Kings Cup plus many channel winners and prize winners.

Included in the sales are Multiple Section F Winners plus direct children and siblings of all the top performers at Hillview Lofts.
