EDC Rules & Admin Procedures
16th Apr 2026

Please see below points which have been drawn to all Club Secretaries tonight.

1. Could I draw to all Club Secretaries attention Rule 20 which states that all results MUST be with the Combine Secretary no later than 3pm on the day following the race and that the result MUST include clocking time, clock set and run off times and any variation.

2. Rule 7 which states that any electronic timing system that varies by 3 seconds or more per day must be returned to the manufacturer for testing. We cannot have clocks that are consistently 3 seconds out and as stated in the rule any pigeons recorded on these clocks will only be included in the result at the discretion of the Chairman and Secretary. The East Down Combine General Committee will decide if pigeons recorded on the clock should be included in the result when the manufacturers report has been received.

3. Could I ask all Secretaries when adding results to the website that they start by entering the winning velocity for the club first and then work their way down through the club result. From EDC Website.

Your attention to all of the above would be greatly appreciated.
