Next week , weather permitting, the NIPA will have 2 races on the same day from Dunmanway. In the yearling race you are only permitted to enter a maximum of 20 birds , in the other race you can send as many as you wish and any age you wish. This is on a similar note to today’s 5 bird where all birds compete in the Dunmanway race but only the 20 yearlings compete in the yearling national.

ALL birds must be paid for in the ordinary Dunmanway race , this includes any y’lings you are entering in the Yearling Nat.If you are not entering the Y’ling Nat you can have your birds racemarked at your own club but these must be brought to your centres for loading on the transporters . ALL Y’ling Nat birds MUST be racemarked at the centre.

Weather reports for Thursday are forecasting rain and strong winds along the line of flight for most of the day.
Race marking will not take place on Tuesday.
Current weather reports received today indicate a possible improvement for Friday, and conditions will continue to be monitored closely.

At present its looking likely to be a Saturday race from both racepoints . Racemarking for Bude on Thursday and racemarking for Dunmanway on the Friday with your collection 1 hr earlier than Bude . Any changes we will update the website.

Race marking will take place on Wednesday 10th June for a possible release on Friday in Sennen Cove. Weather forecast for Friday is for a light north westerly wind and on the line of flight high cloud with sunny intervals developing. Race marking will take place from 14.00 hrs until 18.30hrs. The NIPA have released in Dunmanway at 8.30am and also in Bude at 8.45 am , wind at both release sites was West Norwest

The NIPA/EDC have liberated in Bude at 8.45am in a west north west wind

The EDC have liberated in Roscrea at 9.00am in a west north west wind.


Rosudgeon liberation for Irish South Road Federation, also liberated in Skibbereen.
