Dunmanway MAC Double for Gary Gibson



The Dunmanway race in County Cork was flown on Saturday 13th June with the birds liberated at 8.30am in west north westerly winds. Gary Gibson had the best bird in the Mid Antrim Combine timing his yearling blue hen at 13.13pm flying 245 miles. Sire is a son of the 'Golden2 Couple' and dam is his good Van Den Brande hen from DCP McArdle. This hen won young bird of the year in Cullybackey club last season and last week from Fermoy was placed 8th Section.



Johnston Eagleson & Sons of Ballymena & District were runner up in the Combine on 1500 with a yearling cheq cock. This cock is full brother to two double Combine winners that also have a 1st Combine 2 bird to their credit too. Keith and Callum Kernohan of Ballymena finished 3rd Combine on 1478. Their 2yo cheq cock from O'Roory Hill Stud won 2nd club & 2nd Combine from Gowran Park and 1st club & 14th Combine Grenagh this season
