Mid Antrim Combine - Rosscarbery 22/05/10

Another mad weekend, races, races and more races. The NIPA Inland Nat was flown from Rosscarbery with a 10.00am liberation, it was very warm and the race was a bit erratic. Good returns in some parts and not so good in others, the overall winners are expected to be M/M Maxwell of the Foyle doing velocity 1500. Best locally in East Antrim was B & M Gilmore of Ballyclare doing velocity 1461, a yard ahead of D & P Harvey from the Horseshoe in Larne, the brothers had a fantastic card.

Danny Dixon had the big result best in the Coleraine Centre and winning the Mid Antrim Combine for the 4th time in eight races, a loft in top form. Young McManus & Sons were best in the Cullybackey Centre from Rosscarbery, also won from Clonmel and that’s eight races won on the trot, an all time record in the club. Well done to both lofts, a result of total dedication. Allen McBride of Harryville wins MAC from Clonmel, another loft with numerous 1sts this year.

The Champions League is complete after Rosscarbery, the Knock-Out part starts this weekend at Talbenny, birds remember are race marked on Thursday.
