No training tosses on Monday and Tuesday because of continuous rain and then the basketing list appeared on the web site later on Tuesday 14th December for TRAINING RACE 12 which was due to take place on Wednesday 15th December from 80km (50 miles). A total of 2,976 pigeons and included 2,547 International and 429 South African, with 294 from United Kingdom and 42 from Ireland. Unfortunately, this race had to be postponed because of more continuous rain and the pigeons were returned to Sun City and put back in the lofts. They were then due to be basketed again very early on Thursday morning but because of heavy continuous rain from 7pm on Wednesday right through to 7am Thursday morning it was decided to cancel this race. A total of 100mm of rain was recorded in Sun City during this twelve hour period. The weather forecast for CAR RACE 4 looks to be very promising.
