Liberations - Saturday 07/05/11

With the summer conditions having changed the weekend outlook is for rain from Thursday through to the weekend, liberation conditions will be another test for the various committees. We will update here with all the latest news as it becomes available.
NIPA are in Fermoy - The N I P A will race mark on Friday 6th May 2011 for Fermoy, weather conditions this weekend are mixed with rain at times and southerly winds. Saturday overcast at present, news update after 10.00am.
NIPA released in Fermoy at 10.05am, wind SE. Sunny spells at release point, grey sky - reported birds were slow to clear.
MESSAGE FROM NIPA: It has come to my attention a number of rumours are spreading around the country without any foundation.There was no NIPA meetings this week regarding racing, I have not met with the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the health of racing pigeons, if i have ever anything to report you will read it on the internet. Do not listen to rumours or help to spread them. Fred Russell Secretary.

Ulster Federation are at Thurles (2) - Released in Thurles at 9.30am wind South.
East Down Combine are in Fermoy (1) - Released at 9.15am wind SSE.
East Coast Federation are in Pilmore Beach (2)
The East Coast Federation birds have been brought back to Tramore. No liberation possible due to weather conditions, birds being brought back - No Race.
Irish SR Federation are in Rosscarbery - Released at 1.00pm.
