Dam Monique 131 at stock won 4 x 1sts inc. 3rd Open EDC Tullamore, 5th Open RDC Fermoy, 5th Open EDC Skibbereen, 18th Open EDC Mallow, 34th Open EDC Tyone Mills, 31st Open INFC Skibbereen.

LOT 5. Janssen GB12T-11045 ready 26th March. Presented by Ron McKelvey, Newry. Sire is a direct son of the lofts double 1st Open winner inc 1st Nat Rosscarbery & RPRA Award winner. Junior Bond is also the sire of 3rd Open beaten on that occasion by loft-mates. Dam Blue w/f GB11A-20819 was a consistent racer as a young bird. Her sire is a half-bro to the double 1st Open winner paired to a good racing Blue w/f hen that’s positions included 2nd Open NIPA etc.

LOT 6. A pair of the very best from Paddy Lue of Downpatrick, ready mid April. Sire and dam direct from Luv van Coppenolle 8 x 1st Nationals & Internationals all distance events. These birds do not come on to the market too often.

LOT 7. Young bird ready in May, presented by N Black & Son, Dromara. Full of the lofts top long distance bloodlines including their Kings Cup winner Drumiller Hill Lad. The parents are both at stock, sire a full brother to Rocky winner of 8th Open INFC Kings Cup Vannes and the dam a full sister to 8th Open Vannes and 19th Open INFC Yearling National.

LOT 8. Young bird ready end March/early April, presented by Davy Hutchinson of Ashfield. Sire a son of 1st Open INFC Skibbereen YB Nat x 1st Open NIPA Rosscarbery. Dam a daughter of 1st Open INFC Yearling Nat x 1st Open INFC Skibbereen OB National. Steeped in Nat winning bloodlines this one!

LOT 9. Youngster bred by Kevin Rooney & Son, Annalong. Sire Lindelauf NL06-1469612 sire and g/sire of a host of winners. 2nd Fed, 2nd Sect & 2nd Open Thurles. One hen won 3 x 1sts on channel. Five bred from him in 2007 all turned out winners. G & P Brown had 1st Sect Pilmore Beach, and he was sire of the best Young Bird for K Rooney & Son in 2011. Dam Marijke Vink NL08-1522965, full sister to Verdi 4th Nat 10,060b, 10th and 29th Nat etc. She is dam and g/dam of many winners, with above cock and others inc 6th Open Tullamore. Dam of Best YB in 2011.

LOT 10. Presented by M Maguire & Son, Newry & Dist. This youngster contains the best of the lofts long distance bloodlines which have enabled them to achieve some fantastic results at Derby & Nat level over the past DECADE! She is a double grand daughter of their famous No 1 cock Home Alone. The sire of the youngster is a son of Home Alone, when paired to Portavogie Lass winner of the Millar Gold Cup. It is worth noting that both of these pigeons were the only birds timed into Ireland on the day from FRANCE! The dam is off Home Alone when paired to a daughter of Jim Biss’s famous three times National winning cock Natrix. Malachy said – This is as good as there is in our lofts and I am in no doubt this youngster will help establish or compliment and long distance family of pigeons.

LOT 11. Presented by Maurice Wilkinson, Wilton Cross (Lurgan). All the best bloodlines of Ron Williamson stock birds. Sire Blue cock 11B-42896 from 13th & 14th Open St Malo. Dam Blue hen 10X-20431 g/dtr of Kings Cup winner. Short of detail but steeped in distance success.

LOT 12. GB12C presented by Terence McCrudden, Coleraine & County Derry. The sire has bred over 40 x 1sts and the dam has bred winners with every cock she has been with. Sire is sire of 1st Sect & 12th Open Arklow 22,000b and sire of the famous Oisins First winner of 5 x 1st Sect NIPA! Dam is the dam of Planet Europe 2nd Open Europa Classic in 2011, only 3 birds on the day.

LOT 14. Young Bird presented by Danny Dixon, Ballymacaldrick Lofts, Dunloy Co Antrim. Nothing but the very best from Danny, the youngster is bred from 2 x National winners. Sire is Channel Vista Prince and dam is Dixie Chick, she is a gran-daughter of two National winners Flecher’s Dream and Plantation Rangers, the sire
is a grand-son of Cuchullain, National winner from Skibbereen .The dam
off a great grand-daughter of Alan Darragh’s Champion 05, his OB Derby winner from Skibbereen. Danny said - In this young birds blood you have 4 x 1st National winners and a Derby winner, best I have in my loft!
