Liberations - w/e Sat 30/06/12

THE NIPA and others inc Ulster Fed and ECF (Dublin) are in Penzance, birds were race marked on Saturday and liberation is expected on Monday 25th June with the weather to be the best day of the week. Please call back for confirmed liberation.

Important information for St. Malo Old Bird National race marking.
Update Sunday at 13:30 hrs.

The NIPA will racemark on Tuesday Evening 26th June, for a possible release on Friday. Please call back for updates.
    Monday 25/06/12

    The N.I.P.A. have liberated in Penzance this morning at 8.50am in Blue sky and Sunshine.
    No wind at the release point. On route they have blue sky and sunshine, right through to Wexford and up the coast to Skerries.
    At Dublin airport, the wind is coming from 310 degrees ( north west ) at 5 knotts , visibility 10 klms or greater temp 13+ cloud height 1800ft and scattered 2,200ft so good luck to all.

    Best of luck to all including those competing for the Meritorious Awards and The RPRA (Irish Region) Diamond Jubilee Race. HOMER.

    Just a few of the pics we took of the liberation this morning in Penzance , the lorries ad a little trouble getting traction on the groun due to the recent rains but a local farmer soon pulled them all in formation and it was a great liberation , hope you like the pictures , good luck to all racing today , from MR & MRS DURRANT , PENZANCE.

    Thursday 28/06/12

    To end all speculation to where the birds are they are on site in St. Malo from 11.30am local time and were fed and watered at 2.00pm the sun is shining and the birds are in good spirit. Fred Russell.

    The N.I.P.A. have liberated in St.Malo at 6.30am the wind at the release point was south south west on route the wind is force 4 at the Alderney Island with blue sky and white puffy clouds.On the English coast at Falmouth we had blue sky with 4/5ths cloud cover in Bude we had blue sky and sunshine so good luck to all and i wish you all the best for the young bird season as this is my last race as your race adviser so good luck to all.

    Good Luck to all the fanciers competing across Ireland in the various organizations, also all those chasing the Millar Gold Cup for the first bird in the Irish Homing Union. The new Ken McConaghie Memorial Trophy is going to be won for 1st Bird in the part of Ireland not winning the Gold Cup, another fantastic prize. HOMER.
