Pigeon Network News Update –

Ballymena & District HPS: The club will be holding a Pigeon Moot with top guests at the Ballymena United Social Club, Warden Street on Thursday 25th October at 8.00pm. It’s a number of years since the club have run this sort of night and the venue should be handy enough for fanciers in this particular area, the town has always enjoyed good support. Supper is at half-time followed by a small sale of top quality late-breds from well known lofts, and other friends of the club. Pay at the door, just £4.00. Dates for the Winter Show series will be set soon and the Open Show will take place as usual on New Years Day which is Tuesday 1st January 2013. All the arrangements are in the hands of the clubs hard working Events Committee.

Kells & Dist HPS: Have another Social Evening planned to take place in the Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim on Friday 26th October, pay at the door. Prior to the main event the Kells & Dist HPS will present the prizes for the year. More details later following a club meeting to be held this Thursday 4th October at 8.00pm when arrangements will be made for this, and the show season.

Ireland’s Own Pigeon Auctions: Will have a Sale in Glenavy on Friday 19th October for Dave Aiken of Lincoln, some 40 Star Lots, birds on view at 7.00pm, sale at 8.00pm. * Bookings are now being taken for tickets to the Annual NIPA Ladies Night to be held at the Templeton Hotel in Templepatrick on Friday 9th November. Secretary Fred Russell has requested that all cups and trophies are returned ASAP, and in a clean condition. The list of award winners will be published very soon.

* Could all the INFC 2011 trophy winners please return them to Ronnie Johnston or Trevor Topping. The annual dinner will be held in the Stormont Hotel Belfast on Friday 30th November 2012. Members should make claims for all the various awards as per Race Booklet issued to the membership. Merit Awards will be presented to any pigeon twice an Open Prize-winner in either the Kings Cup or the Friendship Nat. Please make all claims to Trevor Topping INFC Secretary.
