The Yearling Nat for Cocks and Hens was also flown last Saturday, no problems here with the birds coming well from Rosscarbery following the 11am liberation in a SW wind. The Eastway HPS won both races with M & T Griffith 1st Yearling Cocks (1644) and Jimmy Burrows 1st Yearling Hens (1645). The combined entry exceeded 4,000 birds, I am still not sure about its place in the programme.

The Yearling Nat for Cocks & Hens was flown last weekend from Rosscarbery in County Cork, liberation was at 11.00am in a helping SW wind. Mid Antrim lofts performed well with the best birds in each race topping the Combine & Section. Mr & Mrs Sempey from Ballymena & Dist won the 1st Cocks on velocity 1619 finishing 10th Open NIPA while J & N Simpson from Broughshane & Dist won 1st Hens on velocity 1585 finishing 50th Open NIPA. The Sempey and Simpson lofts will both feature in the Champions League semi-final from Truro at the weekend.

The NIPA Yearling Cock/Hen National was flown on Saturday 31st May 2014. The birds were liberated at
11am into a light south westerly wind . The race itself turned out to be a dream race for the Eastway club ,
flying in Section C , as both races were won by its members , M & T Griffiths & Jimmy Burrows . A fantastic
result for this highly competitive club and congratulations to both fanciers .

The Yearling Nat for Cocks and Hens was also flown last Saturday, no problems here with the birds coming well from Rosscarbery following the 11am liberation in a SW wind. The Eastway HPS won both races with M & T Griffith 1st Yearling Cocks (1644) and Jimmy Burrows 1st Yearling Hens (1645). The combined entry exceeded 4,000 birds, I am still not sure about its place in the programme.

The Yearling Nat for Cocks & Hens was flown last weekend from Rosscarbery in County Cork, liberation was at 11.00am in a helping SW wind. Mid Antrim lofts performed well with the best birds in each race topping the Combine & Section. Mr & Mrs Sempey from Ballymena & Dist won the 1st Cocks on velocity 1619 finishing 10th Open NIPA while J & N Simpson from Broughshane & Dist won 1st Hens on velocity 1585 finishing 50th Open NIPA. The Sempey and Simpson lofts will both feature in the Champions League semi-final from Truro at the weekend.

The NIPA Yearling Cock/Hen National was flown on Saturday 31st May 2014. The birds were liberated at
11am into a light south westerly wind . The race itself turned out to be a dream race for the Eastway club ,
flying in Section C , as both races were won by its members , M & T Griffiths & Jimmy Burrows . A fantastic
result for this highly competitive club and congratulations to both fanciers .
