MAIDEN CITY RPS Presentation -
The annual presentation was held on Friday 20th November in the Derry City F.C Social Club, Crawford Square, special guest was Eamon Quigley from Amelia Earhart who set the local record last season from France, timed a bird on the day in all the races from France, NIPA Old Bird Derby St Malo, Kings Cup from Saint Allouestre and finally the INFC Friendship Nat from Quimper.
The son and grandson of the late John McGroarty prested the family\'s Memorial Trophy to Maiden City Secretary Pat Mc Laughlin. In 2015, the first year to be competed for, the winner was John\'s life-long friend and colleague Martin Healy. The major award winner was again Pat McLaughlin.
Many thanks to the Guest of Honour Eamon Quigley for presenting the prizes and to the staff and management of the Derry City FC Social Club. PS. we promise not to leave Sean and Jimmy behind next year.
