THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS POSTED ON BEHALF OF FRED RUSSELL - NIPA SECRETARY
THE NIPA WILL RACE from TALBENNY & FERMOY (plus 5 Bird) ON THE SAME DAY - THIS INCOMING WEEKEND - WEATHER PERMITTING - AN UPDATE WILL BE POSTED ON WED EVENING - ON THE NIPA WEBSITE .
Mr IVAN MAWHINNEY HAS BEEN REPLACED AS RACE CONTROLLER BY A 3 MAN COMMITTEE:
JIM RAMSEY - Derry & Dist
DAVID CAMPBELL - Eastway
KEN WILKINSON - New Antrim Amal

Fermoy/5 Bird Update

The NIPA have decided to race mark on Thursday night 1st Sept for a race from Fermoy and 5 Bird on Friday 2nd Sept weather permitting and we will update regarding Talbenny on Thursday night.
2 members from another club must be present if duplicating into the 5 Bird Classic. All members please note that all birds for Fermoy must be mixed.
East Down Combine - The East Down Combine will not be Hampering on Thursday Night for the Talbenny YB Derby. Next update will be Thursday night.

Talbenny Young Bird National.
Race marking will take place on Friday 2nd September at centres for a possible release on Sunday. Centre collection times will be advised later today.
East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Ecfed marking Friday for Talbenny race on Sunday.
NIPA SECTION D MEETING - WILL ALL MEMBERS OF NIPA SECTION D PLEASE NOTE A SECTION D DELEGATES MEETING WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY 6th SEPT @ 7.30PM - VENUE FOR MEETING: TITANIC CLUBROOMS - SEVERN STREET - BELFAST.
U/Fed will hamper on Saturday for a possible lib on Sunday from Kildare weather permitting, usual time.

Race marking for Talbenny will take place on Friday 2nd Sept 2016: Kilkenny 6.30 pm; Arklow 8.00 pm; Dublin East Wall 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm ; Cork ring local organizations

North Coast Classic Final Rosscarbery

Our final will take place this Sunday from Rosscarbery 265 miles and we wish all those competing the best of luck . The weather forecast looks favourable at present and we are hopeful of a successful race .We will be having our usual barbecue and everyone is welcome . Our pools for the final are £2 , £3 , £5 , £10 ,£15 , £5 nom , £10 nom . All pools are unlimited . All pool monies sent in the post must have arrived by Saturday 3rd . Parking is available at the Earl Morrison Hall at the bottom of the lane on the Newmills Road . Parking is not permitted on the lane or at the lofts .

The East Down Combine Weather Committee have decided not to Hamper Tonight (Friday) for Thurles. Next update will be Friday Night.

NIPA Talbenny Update - The race controller has informed us that there is very good visibility on both sides of the channel but unfortunately at present the wind is just a bit strong though this is easing down and he is hopeful of a liberation at around 10.00am we will update the website as soon as any information becomes available.
Talbeny lib at 10.30 all organisations
The NIPA have released in Talbenny at 10.30 in a light westerly wind there is sunshine at both the release site and in Ireland and the visibility on the channel is excellent.
EDC Update - No decision has been made on a Liberation from Talbenny or Thurles. Next update will be around 10.15.

The Birds For Our North Coast Classic Final Race From Rosscarbery were Liberated at 0800hrs into a Bright Sky and little Wind was Reported, We wish everyone taking part Good Luck
We would also like to thank Trevor, Kenny, Paul, Damian,& Adrian, for there help at the marking late last night, it was much appreciated, and our many friends that phoned us both with there support and good wishes and also those who visited us in the last couple of days it is those people that make our trying year a little easier.again i thank you.
