Speedy races from County Cork -
It was another big result in the Rosscarbery Nat for the high flying J & M Milliken of Rasharkin & Dist, the top three positions in the MAC plus 2nd Sect B & 11th Open NIPA with 6327 birds competing. Yet again the Rasharkin & District dominated the top positions, another great race for J & M Milliken.

Following Rosscarbery the Old Bird Knock-Out for individual lofts leaves the following to compete in Talbenny (1) this weekend. Danny Dixon (Rasharkin) v Allen McBride (Associate), Stewart Bros (Randalstown) v Steele & McNeill (Rasharkin), Gary Gibson (Associate) v J & M Milliken (Rasharkin), Blair & Rankin (Ballymena) v McFall & McManus (Ballymena).
Cullybackey Centre arrangements - Money for Fermoy 5 Bird collected Wednesday 30th May in Cullybackey clubrooms 8.30 to 9.30pm. Birds race marked 15.30 to 18.00hrs Friday 1st June in Cullybackey clubrooms. All ETS to be cleared of all the races, T3 clocks ready after lorry leaves Cullybackey. Two members from each club must assist with marking and checking.

Martin Graham wins Ballymena & Dist from the Rosscarbery National with a yearling blue cock chasing his hen to lay. Martin's father in law quit the pigeons after the young bird season last year and gave Martin this cock which he broke in during the winter. Breeding is Soontjen from M D C Magill of Harryville. The winner was timed at 2.53pm flying 254 miles, Martin had a small team competing.
