LIBERATION NEWS WITH REFERENCE - Sat 15th Aug 2009

It is to be another difficult weekend re the weather, decisions will be made before the end of the week and any changes regarding race marking etc will be published here. The Emerald Classic Hot Spot due to be flown Friday has been brought forward to Thursday. We will do our best to have all the latest news kept up to date, on here.
NIPA will be in Clonmel, East Down Combine in Nenagh and Ulster Federation in Fermoy.

The NIPA will race mark as normal tomorrow evening (Friday) for a planned liberation on Saturday in Clonmel. Weather forecast at present indicates that the weather will clear up around 12 Noon on Saturday wind will be a fresh South Westerly around 17 - 20 miles per hour with gusts expected to put another 5 - 8 miles per hour onto that. Sunday is looking at the minute some what troublesome with early indications being that it is a mixed bag with spells of prolonged rain in both the North and South during the course of the day. Monday looks the best day at hand, but based upon the information available this evening the NIPA have opted to go for a planned liberation on Saturday. ** The NIPA Race Next Week will be from Fermoy. **

The early weather on Saturday was as expected, overcast and lots of rain. It is to clear and a release should be possible in helping conditions. The NIPA plan to liberate in Clonmel at Noon. The NIPA Liberation in Clonmel has been confirmed as 12.15pm in a Westerly wind. Ulster Fed have released in Fermoy at 11.15, wind West. EDC plan to release in Nenagh between 12.45 and 1.00pm. This page will update when more news is available.
