Collection Points Transporter approx. arrival Times

Would all members please ensure that when parking their vehicles at their collection points , that these DO NOT impede the transporter in any way re loading etc.

Limavady 6.30 pm ( at car park on ring road )
Coleraine 7.15pm
Ballymoney 7.45pm
Cullybackey 8.30pm
Ballymena 9 pm ( close to 7 towers roundabout )
Glenarm 5.30pm ( inland only with exclusion of any comeback )
Larne 6pm (please ensure the hedge has been cut back )
Carrick 6.30 pm
Doagh 7.15pm
Muckamore 7.45pm
Coalisland 6.30pm
Loughgall 7pm
Edgarstown 7.45pm
Lurgan 8.15pm

Dromore & Newry will be collected when transporters are available.
After the 1st couple of weeks of these collection points , if we find we are able to collect at further collection points we will announce this . It is imperative that all clubs email office@nipapigeons.co.uk which collection point they are using, this will enable us to deliver stationary etc to the correct collection points.

Transportation Amendments

The previous post which contained the collection times at collection points has now been declared null and void.

The collections will be as normal at your clubs with the full fleet of 7 transporters doing this collection.

These 7 transporters will require up to 4 extra men to be hired as the transporters will have to meet at a hub so that 7 transporters can be reduced to 4 possibly 5 to continue on to the race point.

This will significantly increase the cost and to meet this cost the price of the crates will rise by up to £3.00 per crate.

All clubs MUST phone the assist secty on 07803019641 on the night of basketing to relay the number of crates that are being sent to that race.

Collection times will be at your usual times as they were last season

The Collection times for 2025 are as last year with the exception of the following ;
Killyleagh 6pm
Crossgar 6.45pm
Downpatrick 7.30pm
Corrigs 8 pm
Harmony 8.30pm

Pigeons being collected on a Saturday will be collected 1 hour earlier than usual.
I would again remind clubs not to have cars parked restricting the transporters from picking up at your clubrooms.
The cost of crates for inland racing only, is £15.00 , this will be reviewed in 4 weeks . In all comeback races the crate price will be £14.00
The NIPA at this time have hired 4 extra drivers with the possibility of 1 more being added.
10 men will transfer the crates from lorry to lorry at the Hub .

Any club with Southern Irish crates please use them this week and please DO NOT take any southern crates back off the transporter.
Any cardboard that you have ordered should be on the transporter any clubs requiring cardboard can collect this at the office as we have quite a few in stock. Joey Vage.
