JOURNEY’S END - N.I.P.A NOTES – SECTIONS C, D, F, & G

‘MURRAY MINT’ TOPS THE N.I.P.A. OPEN FOR MATTHEW RUSSELL
This week the Mighty N.I.P.A. were to be scheduled racing from Cloughmartin. Unfortunately, we were unable to Liberate from Cloughmartin as the liberation site was not free. So, this week’s race was held in the same race point as last week from Roscrea. The N.I.P.A. members race marked as normal on Friday for a Liberation on Saturday the 3rd of May . A total of 701 Members sent 23,289 Birds to Roscrea in County Tipperary. The Birds were liberated at 10:00AM in a North/North West Wind.

The Open Winning Bird from the third Old Bird Race of the 2025 Season belongs to Matthew Russell of Dromara H.P.S in Section D.

Matthews Roscrea 2, 1st Open Winner GB23 D 43632 has been named ‘Murray Mint’ as she is a gift bird from clubmate Barry Murray. This hen was raced on the roundabout system. She has previously scored 3 x 2nd Clubs, 3 x 3rd Clubs and 2 x 4th Clubs. She has also scored 4th,36th,39th,92nd, 104th and 323rd N.I.P.A. Open. A pretty good way for this hen to finally earn her first Win by topping the whole N.I.P.A.

Many Congratulations to Matthew Russell on claiming 1st N.I.P.A. Open from Roscrea 2.
Also, Congratulations to 2nd Open D. Calvin of Bondhill Social in Section E. And Congratulations to 3rd Open Winner Owen Markey of Ballyholland H.P.S. in Section G.
