LIBERATIONS - Saturday 29th May 2010

The NIPA will race mark as normal on Thursday for possible release in Talbenny (South Wales) on Saturday. This page will update when more news is available.

Races due on Saturday 29th May are as follows:

NIPA Talbenny (1)
Ulster Fed Talbenny (1)
East Down Combine Talbenny (1)
East Coast Fed (Dublin) Talbenny (1) - Fed Open Race

Talbenny birds due to be released at 8.30am Sunday, wind Fresh NW. LIB Confirmed as 9.00am wind 11MPH.

Irish SR Fed will be in Sennen Cove - Hold Over in Sennen Cove, could be early release on Sunday.
Birds were moved to Penzance due to mist and were released on Sunday at 9.45am.

Irish SR Fed also at Mallow - Liberation expected at 12.30pm, wind SW. Fast race expected.

After almost two months of perfect weather conditions this weekend for the Bank Holiday is going to be a test in making the correct call. The Northern Ireland organisations are cross channel for the first time at Talbenny in South Wales and the ISRF after a race last weekend out of Bude move on to Sennen Cove, its also a race for the IHU Nat FC.

The NIPA have reported a lot of rain in Wales early Saturday and no decision expected, one way or the other before mid-day. Conditions have not improved and the birds are held over in Talbenny.

Munster Federation birds released on Sunday at 8.00am in Coleraine.
