The cross channel races started last weekend with all the local organizations at Talbenny in South Wales, poor weather conditions in Wales delayed the liberation on Saturday and birds were released first thing on Sunday. East Down Combine were away at 7.45am and NIPA & Ulster Fed released at 9.00am. East Down Combine winners were Mickey Croskery from Annsborough doing velocity 1067, best reported in the NIPA are Donnelly Bros from Newry City doing velocity 1218.

This weekend all organizations are back in Talbenny, remember Talbenny (2) is the first leg of the RPRA Meritorious Award for single bird performance over two races, Talbenny (2) & Penzance. Next week we have the INFC Yearling Nat from Sennen Cove, race marked in Lisburn on Monday between 3.00pm and 7.00pm with the race on Wednesday.
