Just received photos of this remarkable hen.Photo on left before she went to this years Irish North Road Old bird national from Thurso.whats remarkable you may ask ?.Well liberated at 6.00am on Saturday she was timed at 07.55 am on Sunday morning.The distance of 456 miles.Presently she is the only bird recorded.Winning 1st National.Known as Dee, this same hen won 1st Irish North Rd National Perth 2015 flying 332 miles.Making Dee a double national winner.Remarkable bet you agree. Dee ‘s breeding is top class also,being Daniel Ariens/Geoff Cooper cross. Congratulation to McCormick and O’Donoghue of Limerick on this great achievement.

What can I can today has been one of the bested day’s of my life racing pigeons for myself and mike McCormack not only did we clock our game little hen Dee but she is the only bird so far and has won Thurso National. Mike has dreamed about this day for 40 years and I have dream of this day as far as I can remember but not only that our hen Dee is now a double National winner her record now stands at 3x1st Clubs, 2x1st Munster Federation, and 2x1st Irish North Road nationals we would like to thank all the lads that phoned us to congratulate us below you will find a picture before she went to the National and after we clocked her.
