Liberations 09/05/15 – NIPA Results Corrin

P & J Boal from Dromore, 1st & 2nd Open NIPA Corrin

At the weekend the NIPA raced from Corrin for the first time, this new race-point is just south of Fermoy and we were liberating there as we are unable to access the Irish Army camp at Fermoy on this occasion as the range is being used for training purposes on that particular weekend. Liberation was delayed until Noon with birds released in a Westerly wind, birds romped home again in this fourth race of the old bird season. Sect D and the Dromore Area dominated the leading positions, 1^st & 2^nd Open NIPA was won by P & J Boal with the winner recording velocity 1753 for the 182 miles timed at 15.03hrs.

ULSTER FED: THE ULSTER FED WILL HAMPER FRIDAY – USUAL TIMES – RACE FROM THURLES.

EAST DOWN COMBINE: The East Down Combine will hamper as scheduled on Friday night for 1st Pilmore Beach.

The NIPA will racemark tomorrow night Friday for a possible release on Saturday in CORRIN please ensure you have got your new measurement.

Next week`s race is Pilmore Beach 16th May The Inland OB National will now be flown on Saturday 23rd May 2015.

Would all club`s take note – Crate labels must have the name of the club the race point and the date of the race.

Crates are not allowed to contain EASY BED OR SHAVING`S SAWDUST AND SAND IS THE ONLY DRESSING`S PERMITTED

Saturday 09/05/15

Good morning the N.I.P.A. are in Corrin for the fourth race of the season , the birds are on site from 4-30am ,the drinkers are on and the birds are in good spirit. They are sitting in blue sky and sunshine so I am hope full of a liberation between 10.00am and 12.00am there is no wind at the release point at this time I will up date accordingly.

Good morning the N.I.P.A. are in Corrin for the fourth race of the season I have been on with the convoyer and the strings are cut , so we are set up for a 12.00 o’clock liberation and I will up date as soon as the birds are liberated. In the Dublin area the wind is coming from westerly at 280 degrees at 10 knots we have few cloud at 1200ft and scattered at 23,000ft temp is11degrees.

N.I.P.A. are in Corrin for the fourth race of the season the birds have been liberated at 12.00 o’clock .

EDC – Due to overcast weather conditions Liberation is not possible at present from Pilmore Beach next update 10.00am.

ULSTER FEDERATION – THE ULSTER FEDERATION HAVE RELEASED IN THURLES at 9.00am – WIND – LIGHT SOUTH WEST

IRISH SOUTH ROAD FED – THE ISRF HAVE LIBERATED IN MALLOW at 9.15am.

East Coast Fed (Dublin) liberation 9.20am Rosscarberry.

The East Down Combine Have Liberated in Pilmore Beach at 10.00 Wind Light West.
