At the weekend the NIPA raced from Corrin for the first time, this new race-point is just south of Fermoy and we were liberating there as we are unable to access the Irish Army camp at Fermoy on this occasion as the range is being used for training purposes on that particular weekend. Liberation was delayed until Noon with birds released in a Westerly wind, birds romped home again in this fourth race of the old bird season. Sect D and the Dromore Area dominated the leading positions, 1st & 2nd Open NIPA was won by P & J Boal with the winner recording velocity 1753 for the 182 miles timed at 15.03hrs.
