North Coast Classic – 4th Hotspot Tullamore
Birds were liberated at 11am Sunday 15th August in Tullamore in a light south-east wind. Within a few minutes the birds had cleared well. The weather conditions on route were perfect. This resulted in birds arriving 10 minutes earlier than expected.
The ETS system was closed at 16:30 with 361 birds returned. This was to allow results and pool results to be put online. 415 were liberated. Birds are still arriving to the loft and an update will follow tomorrow at 7pm.
We would like to thanks all of those who helped out today with the barbeque. With special thanks too Jackie Ferguson. A big thank you for those who brought refreshments.
I would also like to thank Paul, Willie, Peter and Christopher and Tommy Tweed who officiated at the basketing of the birds. Also Darren Tosh who made sure everybody was catered for.
The tickets are now for available for the North Coast Classic Annual Prize Giving Night and Dinner Dance. The cost of the tickets will be £15. The event will take place on Sunday 5th September 2010 at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine. Prize giving commences at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
