Secretary Robert Reid has listed the various winners in the RPRA (Irish Region) for 2010, the competition for Best Individual Bird Performance over the two cross channel races from Talbenny (2) and Penzance has been won by Danny Dixon of Ballymoney who has enjoyed a best ever racing season. NIPA President Joe Kelly from the Londonderry RPC presented the awards at the annual Ladies Night.

Overall winner was Danny Dixon, Ballymoney. GB08B 12160.

Irish Region Mileage Awards 2010: 0-250 Miles P & J Boal Dromore HPS, 251-450 Miles Ivan Parkes & Son Armagh HPS, 451+ Miles W G Neill Annaghmore HPS. Best Young Bird Performance 2010 won by Bingham & Seaton Ligoniel & Dist. Best All Round Performance 2010 won by P & J Boal Dromore HPS. Young Fancier Mileage Awards 2010: 0-250 Miles Christopher Shaw Dromore West End. Please note for Young Fancier Lower Age is 8, High Age is 16.


P & J Boal from Dromore HPS won the Best all round Performance in 2010.


The Bingham & Seaton team from Ligoniel & Dist won the Best YB Performance in 2010.


Gerald Creaney collects the 451 Miles+ Award for W G Neill, Annaghmore.


Ivan Parkes & Son from Armagh won the 251-450 Miles Award.


McGimpsey Bros from Newtownards won the Sect F Award.


Tommy Mooney from Millvale in Newry City won the Sect G Award.


Alan Kelly from Omagh & Dist won the Sect H Award.


Danny Dixon (r) from Dunloy won six major awards including the
Overall winner of the Meritorious Award Talbenny & Penzance
with the same bird.
