Liberations - Saturday 14/05/11

More poor weather expected over the weekend, testing conditions for the liberation teams for the second week running.

NIPA Official races - Rosscarbery OB Inland National. Birds were race marked on Thursday. Liberated Saturday at 7.00am. The birds all cleared well in blue sky and sunshine right through till Fermoy, there was no wind at the race point on route the wind will be coming from the north west 270 degrees the cloud hight is 3000ft to 4000ft and scattered at 2000ft. At Dublin airport the wind is north west at 11 knotts there is blue sky and sunshine temperature is 8 degrees.


Roscrea - Race marking Friday and collections at Centres. Liberated at 8.00am in a west wind at the race point there is a high greyish sky and the birds all cleared well.

East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Race is from Pilmore Beach. East Coast Federation birds liberated at 09.00am at Pilmore Beach. Birds cleared well.

Irish SR Federation - Valentia/Waterville Open - Liberation at 8.15am.

Ulster Federation at Fermoy, released at 7.30am wind Lt NW.
East Down Combine at Skibbereen - Old Bird Classic, released at 7.45am wind Lt North.
