The Yearling National pigeons have been heldover today Wednesday 8th June.
This is due to force 6 west / north /westerly winds on the channel, heavy downpours and thunder on route.

This morning the NIPA birds are in Bude for the second cross channel event and Fermoy for the 5 Bird Championship.
There has been a Liberation in Bude at 7.45am, more info shortly.
The NIPA & East Down Combine, plus Ulster Fed and ECF (Dublin) have liberated in Bude at 7.45am, no wind at the time of release the wind for the channel is variable at force 2 to 3 occasionally 4 at Dublin Airport the wind is coming from 260 degrees which is westerly at 8 knotts cloud hight is 2000ft scattered 8000ft visibility good.
A liberation is expected this morning at 9.00am in Fermoy, there is Blue sky and sunshine at the release point at this time.
The NIPA have liberated in Fermoy at 9.00am in a light North Westerly wind, and at Dublin Airport the wind is now coming from 270 degrees which is westerly at 10 Knotts and the temp is 9 the cloud hight is 2000ft and scattered at 8000ft visibility good.
Irish SR Federation - Talbenny released at 9.30am, Pilmore Beach released at 8.45am.
