Mid Antrim Combine - Fermoy 26/08/12

Due to the weather all the Irish organisations delayed the race marking until Saturday, the NIPA birds on their 6th young bird event were released in Fermoy on Sunday at 10.00am in a helping Lt Southerly wind. It worked out well on the best day of the holiday weekend and most lofts have reported full returns. Not all results have been placed but when going to press the leading loft was Surgenor Bros in the Kells & Dist, they timed at 13.40hrs recording velocity 1607 for the 201 miles.

Cullybackey Centre – The race marking arrangements for the Talbenny YB National are as follows. Race entry fees etc will be collected at Cullybackey on Wednesday 29th August between 8.30pm and 9.30pm. The birds will be race marked on the Thursday between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, clocks will be set after the transporter leaves on Thursday. Weather permitting the Premier YB Nat will be flown from Talbenny in South Wales on Saturday 1st September. Would members sending to Talbenny YB National please use the entry forms which were sent out several weeks ago and not those in the race entry booklet. The difference is £3 and £5 pools in the Open and Sections.
