Charity telephone Y/B sale in aid of Friends of Africa Society

A group of 15 Secondary School pupils from Cookstown in N. Ireland, including my son Stephen will be travelling to Zeerust in the North West of South Africa in March 2013 to assist in the ongoing work in an orphanage. All proceeds from this auction will be going to help with this work in Zeerust. Some of the Top lofts in Ireland at present have agreed to donate YB’s to be sold via a combined telephone/internet auction to assist in the work that will be carried out during their time there.

The following lots are on offer:

1. W G Neill & Sons, Annaghmore - Without doubt the top long distance loft in Ireland at present

2. G Buckley & Sons, Annaghmore – Another loft with a top winning pedigree & top quality pigeons.

3. G & A Campbell, Armagh - Top racing loft and winners of this years Penzance Classic, Queens Golden Jubilee race & Irish Region RPRA orerall award winners. Top Soontjen lines here.

4. T McCrudden, Coleraine - Top racing loft and home of Osion’s First – top Van Loon lines here.

5. John Prenter, Sallynoggin - Winner of the 2011 INFC yearling National.

6. Ron McKelvey, Newry – This fancier has some of the top lines available, quality assured here.

7. Ron Williamson, Bondhill – The name is enough. His results are phenomenal, over 50 x 1st Open NIPA

8. Davy Calvin, Bondhill – Without doubt the top YB specialist in Ireland at present. This year taking 1,2,3 & 4 Open NIPA Tullamore with 7494 birds competing.

9. Alan Hall, Omagh – Alan has offered a Heremans/Ceusters Y/B from his top Open winning lines.

10. John Wheatcroft – A Heremans/Ceusters YB from his top stock.

11. S & L Drain, Coalisland – A Y/B from the 2012 Rosscarberry National winner Lauren’s Pride.

12. Alan Darragh, Cullybackey – 6 times winner with the Irish National Flying club.

13. Jim Braniff, Fortfield– This man clocks out of France for fun. His results at the distance over the last few seasons are nothing short of fantastic. Jim has offered a YB from his good French Hen

15. Karl Murphy, (Cookstown Sizzlers) Coalisland - Section A fancier of the year on numerous occasions and one of the top competitors in the North Coast Classic OLR over the past 2 years, top quality assured here.

16. K & K Kernohan, Harryville – A Van Reet/ Vermerbeergan from direct stock. These birds are making a fortune on the continent and winning out of turn.
