Just a wee reminder the Grosvenor H,P,S Iveagh St Belfast are having a show on Boxing Day the 26th December it’s an open show old cocks old hens young cocks and young hen the prizes is £50 pair class
BIRDS TO BE PENNED BETWEEN 2-3 - And trust micko
IF YOUR BIRDS ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO WIN A CLASS HERE “YOUR BIRDS ARE TOP CLASS” AS THE JUDGE WILL BE THE MULTI AWARD WINNER “TIMMY MAWHINNEY” this man has won prizes all over showing his own birds this year I THINK he cleaned up at the Dublin show and he has multiple Top awards from Blackpool R,P,R,A Shows
Anyone looking directions it’s very easy got to from the west link or M1 turn off at the Fall Balls Broadway roundabout take the exit FALL RD or RVH HOSPITAL go up that road take the first on the left and the club is first on the left

Strange Going On In The Grosvenor H,P,S
Hi everyone I hope you all had a good Christmas
Boxing Day Franko and myself were invited to the Grosvenor H,P,S for their annual Open Show and I would like to start by thanking both Joe Smyth and Paul Mc Carthy for the thanks shown on behalf of themselves and their club members for Franko and myself taking photos of their winning club members over the past season we would just like to say thank you we are just delighted members are happy with us calling
So what is that heading all about “Strange Going On In The Grosvenor H,P,S” when we arrived top class showman and racer if not “world class “ Timmy Mawhinney and Young Robert Turkington were already there judging we went in and set up for taking photos of the 4 section winners so anyone who knows me will tell you I can talk for Ireland ha-ha so into the main club room THE BAR lol camera in hand I would stop at a group of lads
Are you all here for the pigeon show?
Yes we are mate why?
Can I take a photo of you all?
Oh NO mate don’t do that
I don’t know if they were hiding out or afraid of the Mrs seeing the photos but it was hard to get photos of those present or maybe they were just under pressure and didn’t want the camera flash hitting them in the eyes ha-ha anyway there was about 100 birds or more on show both Timmy and Robert had their work cut out for them and I would say roughly about the same in the bar the football was on one TV horse racing on the other the joking and mixing going on was great have to say the craic was mighty so downstairs was old cocks and old hens upstairs was young cocks and young hens Franko and myself were in and out of the show room and fanciers asking whats happening any word yet but both Timmy and Robert were keeping things tight to the chest have to say a great day out Big Joe and Paul know how to run a good show
on behalf of the committee and members of the Grosvenor H,P,S they would like to thank both Timmy and Robert for giving up their time to judge the show and to all those who brought birds along its good to see this event getting the support and to the winners very well done
