Foreword from Len Clarke.
All birds in the sale are ready for breeding, they have been wormed and cankered over the past month.
All young birds have been on the darkness as the moult will tell you but all were bred in February, some have already paired.
These birds are sprint pigeons up to 250 mile.
I have always gone after the very best stock I could afford at the time, if you want the right tools for the job, that’s what you have to do.
If on race day you are behind and blaming the birds, the first thing you should do is look in the mirror, for deep down you know that’s it’s up to you to work the bird’s right and get the right stuff.
The birds in this sale are the best of Leo Herman and Sticker Donker.
Jutla bros went to Leo a few years ago and bought a full round of youngsters of his best, cost them a small fortune as you can imagine, but the birds are giving them the results now.
There club is the M1 which can send up to 1000 birds old and young each week.
Believe me they call them the flying machines and they certainly got that right.
The Sticker Donkers cross very well into them as you will see from some of the crosses I have done.
I have not been able to race them over the previous 2 seasons because of my health, but I know deep down if I had been able to give them the work they need they would have been very hard to beat.
As some of you know I used to fly the Albert Marcellis pigeons years ago and won out of turn for years with them. 9 times top prize winner never been done before or since, Three 1st Amals and gold ring races including 2nd Open Midlands national.
The reason I tell you this is because the birds in the sale are faster and better than those in my opinion.
Many of your club members (Sarsfield RPC) have been to my home and been made very welcome and I hope to see you all again and the invite still stands, just give me some notice or ask Tucker or Mick Hickey.
Yours in sport.

Ok folks here are the first 20 birds for Lens auction on Saturday, the rest of the birds are bred from the same pigeons but we just need to confirm the correct parents before we print it. Len hasnt been the best over the past couple of weeks and hasnt been able to go through them properly, but we will have them all sorted by the day of the sale.

I wont be back in Dublín myself untill Friday so if you can contact the Sandyhill email address with any bids or questions.
