Going forward into 2024 the Ballymena based MAC has the following clubs in membership.Ballymena & District, Ahoghill Flying Club, Rasharkin & Dist, Randalstown HPS,Kells & District, Cullybackey HPS, Broughshane & District and Harryville HPS.. New officials are Chairman Robin Service from Ballymena & District and Secretary Willie Reynolds from Ballymena & District. President is Danny Dixon. Mervyn Eagleson is PO. All the latest news and results will be listed here, including Champions League and OB & YB Knock-out. Fees for 2024 are £5.00 for Clubs which includes all the members.

The opening race of the old bird season commenced last Saturday with a race from Mullingar. Liberation was at Noon in a Lt SE wind and all the early birds were timed at the top end. Best bird locally was timed by the new team of Gibson & O’Neill flying in the Cullybackey HPS, two birds in a minute at 1.47pm with the winner recording velocity 1667 for the 101 miles. They are Associate members in the MAC and collect the winning Diploma for the first race. Sire is a g/son of Danny Dixons Heartbreaker and dams Lambrecht, also her sire coming from Danny and her dam of Leslie Madden, she was also 2nd MAC for Scott & Clements. MAC remains open for Associate member’s, get in before the Knock-Out starts joining fee £5.

Club Secretary Willie Reynolds finished runner-up with his Single Bird Challenge entry “Joe 83”, the best bloodlines of the late Joe Devlin.
