The comeback race was flown on Sunday from Fermoy, very fast following the liberation at 7.30am in the helping SW wind. Well done to Paddy McManus of Ahoghill who timed his yearling Cheq hen at 10.21am to record velocity 2037 for the 199 miles into The Croft in Ahoghill. Gibson & O’Neill were a close runner-up.

Going forward into 2024 the Ballymena based MAC has the following clubs in membership.Ballymena & District, Ahoghill Flying Club, Rasharkin & Dist, Randalstown HPS,Kells & District, Cullybackey HPS, Broughshane & District and Harryville HPS.. New officials are Chairman Robin Service from Ballymena & District and Secretary Willie Reynolds from Ballymena & District. President is Danny Dixon. Mervyn Eagleson is PO. All the latest news and results will be listed here, including Champions League and OB & YB Knock-out. Fees for 2024 are £5.00 for Clubs which includes all the members.
