Fast race from Corrin on Friday – Paddy McManus 1st MAC
Last weekend the race from Corrin was brought forward due to the weather, race marking was Thursday evening with the birds released in Corrin on Friday 9th June at 9.30am in a helping Southwest wind. Sam Maginty from Muckamore on a best ever season was 1st Sect doing velocity 1713 and best in Mid Antrim Combine was Paddy McManus from Ahoghill timing at 13.04hrs flying 205 miles. Surgenor Bros win for the fifth time in Kells with the old birds while in Randalstown the Dickey Family continue to dominate, this week’s winner is the nest-mate of the bird that was 2nd Sect & 11th Open last week in Bude.

Money for St Malo collected Mon 19th June at Cullybackey Clubrooms 8.30 until 9.30pm, race marking will take place Tues 20th June marking time will be published later. Rasharkin & District lofts will compete in the Champions League from Penzance this weekend, former winners Danny Dixon v J & M Milliken. The final of the OB Knock-Out also from Penzance will be between Young McManus & Sons (Ahoghill) v Gibson & O’Neill (Associate).

New officials are Chairman Robin Service from Ballymena & District and Secretary Willie Reynolds from Ballymena & District. President is Danny Dixon. Mervyn Eagleson is PO. All the latest news and results will be listed here, including Champions League and OB & YB Knock-out. Fees for 2024 are £5.00 for Clubs which includes all the members.
