The race advisory committee continue to review weather forecasts and will next update on Thursday evening when further information on race marking will be available.
Weather reports received today indicate at this stage there may be an improvement for Saturday and Sunday.

Ulster Federation Skibbereen Derby: At this moment, Saturday marking for a possible lib on Sunday is our best option if any changes clubs will be notified.

Race marking will take place on Thursday as planned times as printed in the race entry form booklet.

Please Note : Weather reports indicate Friday to be the most suitable day to race. We plan to release on Friday weather permitting.

The N.I.P.A. race committee have asked me to post the following information.

Race Marking for Roscarbery Y. B. National. Their preferred option is Friday for a Saturday race. However weather forecasts may change and a final decision will be made tomorrow evening an announcement will be made around 9:30 pm Thursday.

Announcements from the Secretary.

Claims for all N.I.P.A. trophies must be forwarded immediately after the Rosscarbery race, I am already a week behind please assist.

The N.I.P.A. committee will meet on Wednesday evening the 20th September in their headquarters Dromore Co Down at 7:30 pm sharp.

The Final result of the 5 Bird race will be held up as 3 members have had their birds disqualified, they have been notified in writing, also their is an on going investigation taking place which has nothing to do with the 3 birds disqualified.

The NIPA Race committee have decided to race mark on Saturday for a possible release on Sunday.

Skibbereen Young Bird Inland National.

Friday 15th September 2017.

255 Members have entered 2253 pigeons in the race and are competing for £9211.00 in pools and prize money. The pigeons have been liberated at 08:30am into a light westerly wind.

Our next update will be this evening.

ISRF Castletown - Marking Saturday for a Sunday liberation.

IHUNFC - Marking for Barleycove will be 12.30 to 13.30 Saturday (At East Wall RPC club room) €1.50 per bird, sect pools only.

Ulster Federation - Marking for Skibbereen on Saturday 4pm to 6pm For a Sunday lib.

ISRF Castletown - Lots of fog around no word until after 10.00am. Happy to report the birds will be liberated at 11.00 am.

No decision on a release from Rosscarbery as yet , there is low lying mist at present which will clear and we will update the website at 11.00am.

The NIPA have released in Rosscarbery at 11.15 in a light north east wind and your birds have cleared well there are 3023 birds competing in todays YB National good luck to all

Would anyone wishing to submit any claims for any NIPA awards please please do so by the weekend of 24th September as we are a week behind due to the Y B Nat being held up by the inclement weather of late.
