Southern Region (IHU) AGM update -

I would like to wish the newly elected committee of the Southern Region of the Irish Homing Union the very best of luck for the future .Henry Byrne is now our new President with Paul Keegan elected life vice President and Secretary is Alan Meehan with Brendan McGlouglin elected as ring Secretary and MIck Roche is our new treasurer and with a healthy bank balance all should bode well for the future but unfortunately this new committee will have some very rough seas ahead with a few cock ups that will need sorting which will see this new committee having to tackle very serious issues in the not to distant future .It is time now for us all as union members to stick together until we weather this storm but we must learn from the past and never to allow things to get to this stage ever again .Alot of what has got us into this mess is because of bullies being allowed to get away with to much over the years and I hope now that we the union will finally get together and take a stand against these crocked individuals and give them what they deserve.One thing that I do notice about these bullies is that they are also typical dictators who like to control the media and this is why so many phone calls are made to certain people asking to stop certain people posting on social media .Well I have news for you dictators I wont be stopping anytime soon as regards bullies or cheats .Its funny isnt it because if I ever had posted an untruth on here I could have been in trouble but never has there been a complaint about any thing that I have posted being a lie !!! only that I and others should be made to take certain post down .Anyway now is the time to get behind our new committee and give them all the backing that they need to defend our sport against whatever comes up against it , but when this is over and the battle is won in my opinion we must then deal with the cause and the reason that we as a union are in this unholy mess .Remember this is our union and I think that this has somehow been forgotten over the years .Best of luck to our new committee ,divided we fall united we stand .
