B/B St. John of God Hospice Newry - 29/03/18
The annual breeder/buyer young bird sale on behalf of St. John of God Hospice Newry will be held on Thursday 29th of March 2018. Venue: Royal British Legion Banbridge with Penning 6.30pm -7.30pm - Sale starts 8.00pm Sharp. Race Sennen Cove young bird national. Money raised 50% prize money 50% Hospice - 3 prizes 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20% divided equally between breeder and buyer. Everyone welcome to enter young birds (birds must be in pens). Also thanks to all the breeders and buyers, bidders, donations and all that turned up to make it a great night. With all the kind donations a cheque of around £5000 will be going to the hospice. Well done all.

Breeding : The sire for this pigeon is bred down from Sam McAllister of Glenavy breeding and contain McCartney Bros and Bob Harkness bloodlines. The dam is direct from Jackie Waring of Lisburn and has countless french prize winners in the bloodlines. This family of birds have bred us multiple national prizewinners including 25th open Kings Cup and 14th open old bird national NIPA. The winner was feeding a 4 day old youngster and had 4 races Tullamore, Gowran Park and two Fermoys.
