The second race from Tullamore in Co Offaly was so different from the opening event, a lot warmer and a Light NW wind although early morning fog and mist delayed the liberation until Noon. Danny Dixon had the best bird locally to be best in the MAC on velocity 1581 followed by Paddy McManus 1st Ahoghill 1575 and Mark Milliken Rasharkin 1567 last week’s 1st Combine winner both lofts having great cards. Johnston Eagleson in his first race was best in Ballymena and Derek Millar was best in Harryville. Danny timed a two year old Red Grizzle cock at 14.28hrs flying 133 miles recording velocity 1581 for 1st in the Mid Antrim Combine, good start for the President.

The second bird a 2 year old dark chequer pied hen was from Jackie Steele of Rasharkin and again had prizes in the past. Both birds were flying on roundabout. The previous weeks winner Bertie Blair had 3 in the prizes. Race was sponsored by David Parker building contractor on facebook.
