NIPA race marking as normal for Tullamore Sat 14/04/12. It will be the first race of the old bird season. The weekend will also see the opening races for Irish SR Fed who are at Thurles and East Down Combine who are at Mullingar. Many congratulations to Brendan McLoughlin from Annsborough who at the recent AGM for the Irish Homing Union was elected as General Secretary to replace the late Ken McConaghie.

Saturday 14/04/12 - The N.I.P.A. are in Tullamore for the first race of the 2012 season, the birds are on site we have blue sky and sunshine at the moment there is little to no wind and the birds are all watered. At the race point when the birds arrived it was 2 degrees it is now 8 degrees at 8.15am, so the expected liberation time this morning will be between 10.00am and 11.00am.

The N.I.P.A. are in Tullamore 14/4/12 the wind is north east we still have blue sky and sunshine at the race point temp 10 degrees. At Dublin Airport the wind is north east at 040 degrees 16 knotts app 10mph temp +7 degrees cloud hight 2,200ft.The expected liberation time is 10.30am.

ISRF Confirmed Liberation in Thurles is 10.10am.
