***BRAND NEW MOTOR CAR WINNER IN CAR RACE HOT SPOT 2 was won by the pigeon named King Arthur Hees that actually took 2nd Open and belonged to Carter Mayotte from the United States Of America. CONGRATULATIONS ON THIS WONDERFUL ACHIEVEMENT. Once again a winner of a Car Race Hot Spot Race was not “ACTIVATED” so was not eligible to win the prize and so this went to the first “ACTIVATED” pigeon which took 2nd Open. It just goes to show that if your pigeons get to the 1st Car Hot Spot Race, it really is advisable to “ACTIVATE” them. In this race it was a costly experience for this fancier concerned.
***TWENTY US$1,000 (£650) CASH PRIZES IN CAR RACE HOT SPOT 2 were won by all the pigeons listed above in the top 20 with the exception of the pigeons that won 1st, 3rd, 13th, 16th and 17th Open as all these five pigeons were not “ACTIVATED”. So these five US$1,000 (£650) cash prizes went to the pigeons that took 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th positions. Once again it just goes to show how important it is to have your pigeons “ACTIVATED”. This is now six pigeons in the first two Car Race Hot Spots that have not been “ACTIVATED” which has cost the owners a Brand New Motor Car and US$6,000 in cash prizes.
***TWO PIGEON CHALLENGE OFFERS A US$2,000 (£1,300) CASH PRIZE for the best two bird average in each on the 5 CAR RACE HOT SPOTS, only fully paid up pigeons are eligible to compete and the winner will be the “TEAM” that has the best average with two pigeons in the same team. The winner in this race was Team Trekanten Team A from Denmark with pigeons named Caroline P and Adora. The best team in the United Kingdom Team took 21st for Lloyd and Kelly Team G from Abingdon with two pigeons named Franklin and Laughing Boy. Two more UK pigeons took 35th for Carlos Dream Syndicate, administered by Paul Smith and with two pigeons bred by Jos Reilly from Dublin.
***THE KNOCKOUT COMPETITION is only open for pigeons that were ACTIVATED (FULLY PAID FOR) prior to basketing for CAR RACE HOT SPOT 1 and a US$25,000 (£16,225) cash prize goes to the winner which will be the first pigeon clocked in this category in the Final Race on Saturday 2nd February 2013. The entry for this competition this year was 3,026 pigeons and was made up by 2,759 International pigeons, which included 279 from United Kingdom and 57 from Ireland, plus 267 from the host country South Africa. Conditions are as follows:- There will be five rounds, which will take place over the last four Hot Spot Car Races and the Final Race. Knockout Round 1 will be held on Car Race Hot Spot 2 when 65% (1,967) of the entered pigeons will move forward into the next round. This total was made up by 1,967 International pigeons, which included 187 from United Kingdom, 31 from Ireland and 171 from South Africa. Knockout Round 2 will be held on Car Race Hot Spot 3 when 55% (1,082) will move forward to the next round. Knockout Round 3 will be held on Car Race Hot Spot 4 when 35% (379) will move forward to the next round. Knockout Round 4 will be held on Car Race Hot Spot 5 when 20% (76) will then go through to The Knockout Final Round which will be held on the Final Race in the 2012/13 17th SAMDPR series and the first pigeon clocked that is left in this category will walk away with “THE POT OF GOLD” worth US$25,000 (£16,225). GOOD LUCK TO ALL COMPETITORS.
***CAR RACE HOT SPOT ACE PIGEON AWARD OFFERS A US$5,000 (£3,250) CASH PRIZE to the overall winner after the 5 Car Race Hot Spots. GLOBAL AND COUNTRY NOMINATIONS started on TRAINING FLIGHT 2 on Saturday 10th November and these can be added by entrants by going onto the official web site and then logging into their own AS account. GLOBAL NOMINATIONS are available at US$1, US$2, US$5, US$10, US$20, US$50, US$100, US$200 and US$500 categories. UK COUNTRY NOMINATIONS are available at US$1, US$2, US$5, US$10 and US$20.
In the GLOBAL NOMINATIONS for CAR RACE HOT SPOT 2 were once again very good as usual and Pieter Oberholster from Keysoe with pigeon name Obi See You in 54th Open won US$3,111 (£2,074), Guys Lofts Elite with Angies Star bred by Graham Guy from Wolverhampton took 74th Open and won US$646 (£431) and then Lloyd and Kelly from Abingdon took 76th Open with pigeon named Franklin and this won US$306 (£204). UK COUNTRY NOMINATIONS only had a couple of pigeons entered and the entry money was refunded to the fanciers concerned.
CASCADE CHALLENGE is basically a “Single Pigeon Nomination” at a cost of US$10 (£6-50) per pigeon. Only one pigeon in each syndicate can be entered and to win this “Pot Of Gold” a nominated pigeon has to win 1st Open. If not then whatever is in the pot carries forward to the next Nomination Flight. In CAR RACE HOT SPOT 2 there was a total of 146 pigeons entered and that contained 14 UK and 3 Irish pigeons and “THE POT OF GOLD” was won and US$3,275 (£3,275) was flown for with 210 pigeons entered, which included 28 from the UK and 3 from Ireland. Once again this competition was not won and the nearest pigeon to winning was Nemelka Racing Pigeon Loft from United States Of America with pigeon named Call Me Maybe which took 4th Open, just 03.29 seconds after the race winner. The first UK pigeon took 54th Open for Pieter Oberholster from Keysoe and with pigeon named Obi See You. The first IRISH pigeon took 307th Open for Brammer and Nasher with pigeon named Shane. GOOD LUCK IN THE NEXT ROUND TO ALL ENTRANTS.
Of course before you can actually NOMINATION a pigeon or pigeons or put a pigeon in the CASCADE CHALLENGE you must have the appropriate funds in your AS account. So if you wish to have a bit of extra fun during the 2012/13 race series please contact your Country Shipper as soon as possible who will then pass your funds over to the race organisers so that you have enough funds in your AS account to have a little gamble.
IF YOU STILL HAVE PIGEONS THAT ARE “NOT-ACTIVATED” these can be “ACTIVATED” before any of the remaining CAR RACE HOT SPOTS but only ACTIVATED PIGEONS are eligible to fly for any of the US$100,000 Prize Money or Brand New Motor Cars allocated to each of these five races, plus of course you have the US$2,000 Two-Bird Average in each Car Race Hot Spots, US$5,000 Car Race Hot Spot Ace Pigeon Award, about US$40,000 International Country Challenge Prize Money, US$25,000 Knockout Prize Money and US$17,500 South African Race Grand Average Ace Pigeon Awards which has three cash prizes of US$10,000, US$5,000 and US$2,500. If your RESERVE PIGEONS are not ACTIVATED, then you will have no chance to win any of this Prize Money or the 5 Brand New Motor Cars. Take a close look at what is being offered to you, if you ACTIVATE A RESERVE PIGEON for US$1,000 and you then lose this pigeon or pigeons prior to basketing for the Final Race and this pigeon has not won any of the Special Prize Money or any of the 5 Brand New Motor Cars, you get this US$1,000 entry fee refunded in full into your AS account, which you can then use to purchase another RESERVE PIGEON or leave it in your AS account to fund another race entry at a later date. If you decide to request the US$1,000 (approx. £650) entry fees to be paid out after the race has closed, there will be about a US$15 (approx. £10) deducted which will be a bank transfer charge. If one of the RESERVE PIGEON/S you ACTIVATE goes on and wins one of the 100 US$1,000 Car Race Hot Spot Cash Prizes and then gets lost prior to the basketing for the Final Race, it has actually cost you nothing as you paid US$1,000 for it and it will have won you US$1,000. Of course for your pigeon/s to be eligible to compete in THE KNOCKOUT COMPETITION, CAR RACE HOT SPOT AVERAGES, they will of have to have been “ACTIVATED” before CAR RACE HOT SPOT 1. However, of course it could win you a lot more in Cash Prize Money and even a Brand New Motor Car or any of the other Special Prize Money allocated to these 5 Car Race Hot Spots. SO PLEASE DO NOT CAUGHT OUT BY NOT ACTIVATING ANY OF YOUR RESERVE PIGEONS AS IT COULD COST YOU A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY PLUS THE EMBARRASSMENT OF WINNING A MAJOR PRIZE AND THEN NOT BE ABLE TO CLAIM IT. EVERY YEAR FROM DAY ONE, FANCIERS MISS OUT ON WINNING MAJOR CASH PRIZES, PLUS QUITE A FEW HAVE MISSED OUT ON WINNING A BRAND NEW MOTOR CAR JUST BECAUSE THEY DID NOT ACTIVATE THEIR RESERVE PIGEONS. YOU REALLY HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!
