May Day 5 Bird Navan Open Race (Monday 6th May 2013)
This independent venture is being organised for 2 reasons -
A bit of craic / sport
To promote the new local East Belfast transporter
It will be non profit making & has kindly been supported by
J Scates who has agreed to have the pigeons convoyed to the race point free of any charge or expenses
Kingswood HPS who shall allow us use of their hall to hamper the birds
£10 Entrance for 5 Birds Only – ALL MONIES paid out as prize money as follows –
1st 50% 2nd 30% 3rd 20%
Hampering shall take place on Monday morning between 8am – 9am in the Kingswood Clubrooms situated in East Belfast at Carnforth Street just off the Albertbridge Road
Trainers will be very welcome, hampered 7am to 9am directly onto transporter at a cost of 25p per bird
A mass liberation i.e. race birds & trainers will be scheduled for 12pm
