Well after talking to a few fanciers I was asked would I take photos of some club and Fed winners so I was out and about with a friend Franko the first port of call was my own club winner the Alexandra and that honour goes to the race team of Fegan Mc Adory Stevie and Joe who are having a great season with many club wins and Fed positions they also won the Fed in the Thurles 2 O/B race Friday 9th May.
Up next was John Jackson from the Glen Invitation and John known as “The Commander” is also having a great season with I think 5 club wins under his belt this season alone this weeks club winner from Thurles 2 Y/Bs Monday 4th August was a Gaby Vandenabeele.
Jim Leathem from the J&P Leathem race team from the Grosvenor winners of the Kildare Y/B race 26th July taking 1st club 1st Fed Jim and Peter won with a Gerald & Pat Delaney Orooy Hill Stud bred bird and aren’t Oroory Hill Stud birds flying very well this season because after Jim we went to -
Paddy Haughey from the Haughey & Mc Dowell team racing in the Britannia HPS in this week’s race they took the first 5 in the club from Thurles on Monday 4th August and again winning with birds bred by Gerald & Pat at Oroory Hill Stud.
From Paddys we then went to see Tony Ferran from the A&A Ferran team racing in the Grosvenor HPS and isn’t Tony having some season from the St Malo O/B Derby Tony clocked his hen Miss Sofia second Fed bird home Tony then went on to win the first Navan taking the first 4 in the Grosvenor HPS and also the first 4 in the Fed the winner of that race was a daughter of Tony’s Derby winner and has already scored 2 second Feds and this wins -

The second Navan was also won by a race team from the Grosvenor Joe Ward & Son and just like club mates Tony Ferran and Jim & Peter Leathem no strangers to winning Joe and Joseph also took the first 4 in the club and also the first 4 in the Fed in the St Malo race 28th June there were no Fed birds clocked on the first day and they clocked the 4th Fed bird home on the second day one of Joe’s old line Busschaerts.

And last but not least we visited the lofts of Ronnie Malone yes you guessed right yet another Grosvenor Hps member Ronnie’s back after a break from the sport and back with a bang winning the Fermoy O/B race taking the first club first Fed with a bird bred by himself from a Staf Van Reet cock paired to a Davy Black hen.
