The final race of the NIPA season was the Young Bird Inland National flown from Rosscarbery in County Cork. Fog and mist in the release area and on parts of the route delayed the liberation, strings were finally cut at 12 Noon with the birds released in a Lt South East wind. It turned out another good race with the winners into Mid Antrim timed around tea time. Cullybackey Centre leading lofts were all club winners, Alan Darragh 1st Cullybackey, Stewart Bros 1st Randalstown, Connolly & Purvis 1st Ballymena & Dist, Jimmy Rock 1st Harryville, Surgenor Bros 1st Kells, Paddy McManus 1st Ahoghill and J & M Milliken with a very good card 1st Rasharkin & Dist. In MAC it was another win for Danny Dixon of Dunloy winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th with the winner doing velocity1345.
