As there has been a whole lot of speculation as to what is going to happen this week end we have decided to ring Glasnevin tomorrow Wednesday 18th May 2016 to take a look at the weather for the week end ahead, then we will give it to Thursday morning the 19th May 2016 to decide on the appropriate action to take regarding this week ends race from Talbenny we would appreciate your patience thank you very much.

The N.I.P.A. have decided not to race mark tonight Thursday 19th May 2016, as there is to much uncertainty about this week ends weather. So we are going to give it another 24hrs to look at the weather for this week end. We will update tomorrow morning as early as possible, so we appreciate your patience, thank you very much.

IRISH SR FED - Due to the poor weather forecasts for the next couple of days the birds will not be marked Friday for Saturday a further up date will be on Friday midday.!!!!! Mick Roach, Secretary

The East Down Combine weather committee have decided to delay a decision on hampering for this weeks race from Fermoy until Friday morning

Talbenny 22nd May 2016 UPDATE

The N.I.P.A. have decided to race mark tonight Friday 20th May 2016, for a possible release on Sunday 22nd May 2016.

EDC will hamper tonight for a race from Fermoy on Saturday.

The N.I.P.A. have released in Talbenny at 7-30am, they where liberated in blue sky and sun shine with no wind. The weather for the Irish Sea is wind South westerly 3 or 4 veering North west later 5 to 6 sea state slight to moderate visibility good. In the Dublin area the wind is coming from 260 degrees west 10 knots the cloud is few at 800ft scattered at 7,000ft visibility good 10klms or greater, so good luck to all.

Race marking will take place as planned on Monday 23rd May for the INFC old bird Skibbereen national. Times as printed in the race entry form booklet. Weather reports received indicate a release should be possible on Tuesday.
