Bereavement Sale on Behalf of the late Sean McGrotty

Sale will take place in the Rocking Chair Bar on Wednesday 27th July 2016- birds on view from 7pm to 8pm.Included will be Sean\'s stock birds and remaining O.B racers. Those that knew Sean will be aware that he always bought the best, and if they didnt work ,they were out.

The stock team includes among others- a direct son of \" De barcelona 862\"; a direct daughter of Padfield Invincible; stock direct from Kevin Carolan, Coalisland from Kevin\'s National winning lines; the 4th Open Friendship National cock, bred and raced by Derry\'s Mc Eleney Bros; direct stock from Eric Keijsper,Holland; the Nevin Cock, bred and raced by Ronnie. There are also a few new introductions purchased in the off season which unfortunately Sean never had the opportunity to breed off.
Among the stock and race team are birds bred down from Eamon Quigleys \" Madam Buttefly\" when paired to the Nevin Cock and the 4th Open Cock- some raced others held back for stock, producing Sean\'s French timers in 2014 and 2015. Please note that in 2015, 3 pigeons timed into the Nor\'west for 3 different lofts were grand children of the 4th Open Cock, including 1st Section H, 72 Open St Malo.

The race team consists of approx 22 birds all of which have raced to Fermoy- these are all direct from the stock team. Most of these were unraced as Young Birds as Sean always put his family first as he did on the day his life ended so tragically.
