Thursday 11th June 2009 - INFC Yearling National Sennen Cove. Still no news as yet this morning reference a liberation. We are expecting news shortly and will update accordingly.

INFC Yearling National Thursday 11th June. 786 Members have sent 4,134 pigeons to the Sennen Cove Yearling National, these pigeons have been LIBERATED at 8.00am in a Lt Westerly turning North Westerly on the Channel and finally straight North when entering Ireland. Intotal they are competing for £33,300. Good Luck To All.

On a near perfect day the INFC enjoyed a super Yearling National from Sennen Cove on Thursday June 11, liberation had been delayed for one day due to a band of rain around Wexford and heavy rain in Wales. The entry was a little down on the previous year, 786 members sent 4,134 birds competing for pools and prizes of £33,300.
The convoy was released in Sennen Cove at 8.00am in a Lt West wind which was to be NW on the channel crossing and straight North in Ireland. Small batches of birds were reported coming into Wexford and early arrivals were timed in the Dublin area. Details are provisional and subject to correction. The Open Top 5 should be 1st L Donnelly Finglas (Dublin) 1265, 2nd Ingle Bros Ind South (Dublin) 1244, 3rd Parkin & Cairns Dundalk 1228.8, 4th P Rock & Son Skerries (Dublin) 1228.3, 5th Capper Bros Bondhill 1226.
